MEET BLOK DESIGN CO
Blok Design Co. was created by Nada Nashed and Jess Kolb to help people create their ultimate property. Their focus has been in offering thoughtful property staging solutions and taking a different approach to interior design. The girls are extremely savvy and have built a business on understanding their clients needs and delivering projects on time, on budget and tailored to each individual clients brief.
Blok Design Co. was launched in 2015 and has grown significantly over the last few years. The Blok Design Co. team is made up of extremely talented and professional staff who encompass the same passion and attention to detail as Nada and Jess.
We are customer focused, Interior Designers first and our approach to property styling and interior design is unique to us. We work closely with our clients to deliver on their expectations with a raft of results that speak for themselves.

It’s no lie that Blok Design Co. is one of Jess’ babies. Blok Design Co. started as a brain child of Jess and together with Nada they have built a wonderful creative solutions business.
Jess has three beautiful babies and has spent her life buying and selling property, creating one interior masterpiece at a time.
Jess studied Interior Design after school and after completing her course she decided to further study a Bachelor of Business.
Interiors, fashion and family are the three most important things in Jess’ world.

Blok Design Co. founder and Managing Director, Nada brings business nous and brings a wealth of renovation, interior design and property styling knowledge to the business.
Nada is mum to two beautiful girls, and a puppy called Bruno. Nada loves a good scandi interior design and finds herself gravitating to a beautiful piece of blonde timber furniture and pastel and grey cushions.
Blok Design Co. runs like a well oiled machine because of Nada and has managed the growth and success of the business in her stride.

Michelle joined Blok Design Co. in 2019. With a long history of experience in the advertising industry she has a passion for building brands that you’ll fall in love with. She’s worked her magic across national retail, fashion, media, sports and events businesses. More recently Michelle has worked in business strategy and improvement and will be integral in implementing the big plans we have for the next phase of Blok Design Co. When she finished school Michelle wanted to be an interior designer but chose the path of advertising instead! At Blok Design she’s found the perfect way to reignite this interest.

A self – confessed shopaholic from the UK with a serious cushion addiction!
After nearly a decade as a Fashion and Homeware Buyer, Michelle was swept off her feet by an Aussie gentleman and persuaded (pretty easily) to move across the other side of the world to Brisbane.
Taking a leap of faith to follow her dream of becoming a full-time Interior Designer she started studying again and has never looked back. Michelle is so happy spending everyday doing what she loves in a country where the sun is constantly shining!

Wife and Mummy of two beautiful girls, plus fluffy cavoodle Jasper.
Initially coming from a corporate background, Fiona decided sitting behind a desk wasn’t for her anymore.
Fiona’s love of interiors took hold from renovating and styling her own home and a subscription to Real Living Magazine!!
With a little encouragement from a close friend and hubby, she decided to transform her passion into a reality and study Interior Design/Decoration with Commercial Arts Training College.
This then lead Fiona to take a great leap of faith and start her own Interior/Property Styling business.

Kim has joined the Blok Design Co. team as our Property Styling Business Director. She has a few notches in her belt including renovations of two Gold Coast beachside apartments, building her families dream home and designing four award winning restaurants. To say she loves every aspect of the process is an understatement. She will liaise with each client personally and help them create a style and space they can be confident in to help with the selling process.

Shaena came to Blok Design Co. in the first year of operation and has been with business every step of the way. Shaena has unquestionable style and attention to detail and lives and breathes property styling.
Mother of two gorgeous boys, Shaena has completed a number of personal renovations completing all the selections and finishes for the properties. As one of our Property Stylists, Shaena brings an incredible sense of layout design and polish to all styling jobs that are completed by Blok Design Co.

With a passion to be surrounded by all things beautiful (including 2 gorgeous little boys) life’s collective experiences have led Caitlin to the Blok Design Co. team.
Whilst most 10 year old girls were buying Dolly magazine Caitlin’s 10 year old self was buying Home & Garden to make mood boards of her future projects. Now with a collection of magazines that would put the library to shame, 4 major renovations, study in interior decoration and a full blown real estate addiction. Caitlin has decided to harness all that she loves and focus her incredible eye for style to curating the most gorgeous home interiors with the Blok team.

Bec has an incredible design eye, and can turn someone else’s throw away into a design masterpiece. She has studied interior design and has previously worked in kitchen and cabinetry design. Mother of three children, Bec knows how to juggle renovating, working and mothering beautifully. As a property stylist, Bec brings an amazing sense of attention to detail and a very cool design style that enhances any property she works on.

Since a young age Amy has always been creatively inclined, which led her to finding her passion in interior design. She has just achieved a Bachelor of Interior Design Honours degree and looks forward to a career creating beautiful and functional spaces for people.
