1 / Full Design 

Ideal for those seeking full design curation tailored to their individual preferences. Engage in an immersive journey as we collaborate with you every step of the way.  From initial concept to final installation. We work closely to understand your requirements and vision. 2/ Partial Design 

Tailored for those desiring personalised design without a full hands-on approach. Experience a curated journey that aligns with your unique style and preferences. Following our initial presentation of interior selections, you have the freedom to purchase direct from retailers at your convenience, maintaining control over the pace of your project.  

THE FULL DESIGN JOURNEY  

Step 1

Let’s get started 
Start with an in-person Initial Design Consultation to understand your requirements and preferences.

Step 2

Scope of Work 
Receive a Scope of Work outlining the project details and recommended services.

Step 3

Confirmation 
Confirm the Scope of Work with payment terms and conditions and provide necessary documentation. I.e. floor plans, electrical plans, elevations and re-confirm budgets and desired timelines. This information is crucial for us to guarantee a smooth design process with the best outcome possible. 

Step 4

Finalise Vision 
Work with your Designer on detailed design concepts and finalise the vision. Enjoy unrestricted access to industry suppliers, offering endless possibilities in customisation and bespoke creations. This phase is the time to work through the finer details, and perfect your project, including the opportunity to alter or refine the design, including viewing samples, textures, and tones. This is the time to really understand the overall aesthetics and finalise your design.

Step 5

Sign Off & Payment  
Proceed with the design by signing off and making payment to begin the procurement purchasing.

Step 6

Procurement 
Let us handle procurement and quality checks, preparing for installation.  

Step 7

Delivery, Quality Control, Assembly & Storage 
This important step allows our in-house team to begin accepting the delivery of your items, ensuring the quality is as expected, assemble any items and store safely until your scheduled installation date.  

Step 8

Install  
The day where the transformation begins. Your Designer, and the Blok Design Co. team will arrive and start the journey, bringing the design vision to life.

THE PARTIAL DESIGN JOURNEY

This process is thoughtfully curated based on a diverse selection of retail outlets, making it accessible and convenient. Once the design has been finalised, you will receive a Shopping List for you to begin the purchasing journey.

How much does it cost

Initial Design Consultation 

Our Initial Design Consultation with an allocated Interior Designer starts at $350. This fee encompasses a 90-minute consultation session and the development of a comprehensive Scope of Work. Importantly, this fee is completely credited back to your design fees should the project proceed. 

Design Fees 

This fee covers your Designers expertise and time to curate the full design, detailing, and costing of your project. Our design fees account for factors such as scope size, requirements, timeframes, and budget considerations. Typically commencing at $5,000, these fees are subject to adjustments based on the intricacies of the Scope of Work. 

Procurement Fees 

The procurement process can be intricate, and clients often prefer their Designer to handle the entire operation. This service is charged as a percentage of the project, typically starting at $5,000, covering the Designer's time in managing communications with suppliers and placing orders. A modest mark-up of 25% is applied to furniture and delivery costs to account for collections, deliveries, quality checking, assembly, and storage by our in-house team. Importantly, we transparently pass on all trade discounts to our clients wherever possible, ensuring the acquisition of the highest-quality products for their project. When comparing costs with self-purchasing, our professional procurement services often align closely.

Installation Fees 

To guarantee perfect execution of the design in alignment with the Blok Design Co. standard, an installation fee starting at $2,500 applies, covering the expertise of our qualified team, ensuring meticulous delivery and flawless installation. It is imperative to note that the fee structure may be subject to variation based on the size of the installation and does not encompass professional art hanging or other specialised skills, which may incur additional charges.
